PinkPantheress has shared a new song called ‘Angel’, which appears on the Barbie soundtrack – listen to the new track below.
Greta Gerwig directs the film, which opens on July 21 and stars Margot Robbie in the title role, and Ryan Gosling as Ken.
Dua Lipa, who released her new single “Dance The Night” last week, will also be part of the soundtrack. Full details of the “Barbie: The Album” soundtrack were also revealed this month, featuring 17 artists on the collaborative album, including Haim, Tame Impala, Lizzo and Nicki Minaj.

Also starring Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Michael Cera and Helen Mirren, the film appears to follow the story of Barbie, who becomes aware of life’s imperfections and enters the real world with Ken.
A new trailer was shared last month that finally revealed details about the upcoming film’s plot. In the trailer, Robbie’s Barbie is seen stepping out of her “perfect” life and expressing her truest and deepest thoughts during a party. “Have you ever thought about death?” she asks as everyone stares at her.
As he notices that other “perfect” aspects of his life are slowly falling apart, he is tasked with entering the real world to find out “the truth”. Ken Gosling joins her and they are forced to fight two kidnappings and other dangers.
PinkPantheress, for their part, recently announced their first studio album with a new song announcing to their fans that “album season is here.”
The upcoming LP is his second full-length project, following his 2021 debut mixtape “To Hell With It.”
