The Overtaking the original racing anime from Kadokawa and TROYCA has revealed a new preview ahead of its premiere this October. Studio TROYCA is responsible for the animation, under the direction of Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero,The Garden of Sinners: A View with a View,Aldnoah.Zero).
Katsuyuki Konishi and Anan Furuya voice the anime’s main duo Koya Madoka and Haruka Asahina. The rest of the cast includes Tasuku Hatanaka as Kotaro Komaki, Kengo Kawanishi as Satsuki Harunaga, Taku Yashiro as Toshiki Takumaru, and Reina Ueda as Alice Mitsuzawa. The full staff list consists of:

The Overtaking the racing anime follows a story set in the world of F4 racing. In this story, Koya Madoka, an experienced photographer, becomes captivated by the remarkable driving skills of young and ambitious racer Haruka Asahina. This meeting rekindles a long lost passion in Koya. Determined to help Haruka achieve his dreams, Koya creates a modest Komaki Motors team to support him. As their unique journeys unfold, the lives of these two people, despite their age differences and different backgrounds, gradually become intertwined.
