Overlord IV (Season 4)has revealed two preview videos for the upcoming episode 5, which is set to air on Tuesday, August 2. The two previews are, as always, the “normal” version narrated by Ainz (Satoshi Hino) and a special version narrated by a character who will have significant importance or screen time in the episode. Last week’s special PV was narrated by Baziwood Peshmel (Yoshikazu Nagano) and Nimble Arc Dale Anoch (Jun Kasama). Both trailers are subtitled in English.
Cocytus, who is voiced by Kenta Miyake, narrates the special preview. This week’s episode is titled “In Pursuit of the Land of Dwares,” and it looks like we’ll be seeing more of Shalltear. Ainz will head out to try and look for dwarves who are rumored to be making rune weapons. However, the task may turn out to be more difficult than he originally expected, as dwarves stopped communicating with humans a long time ago.
Naoyuki Ito directedOverlord Season 4 (Overlord IV) anime, with Satoshi Tasaki on the character designs. Yuki Sugawara oversees the composition of the series and also writes the script.
Thesupreme lordThe anime series is based on light novels written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by So-bin. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015. Both season 2 and season 3 aired in 2018 with animation by MADHOUSE studio. Two MADHOUSE recap films were also released along the way. A new film is also in the works, but no additional information is known at this time.
