Ousama Ranking will have a special episode in 2023

The official site for the Anime adaptation of the Manga written and illustrated by Sousuke Tooka, Ranking Ousama (Ranking of Kings), a special episode production was announced for a 2023 premiere in Japan. “Yuki no Takarabako (Courage Treasure Fund)” and will tell a story not seen in the anime adaptation.

Summary of Ousama Ranking

The people of the kingdom pity the young prince Bojji, who cannot hear or speak. They call him “The Useless Prince” and mock his supposed prudence. However, while Bojji may not be physically strong, he is not weak at heart. When a chance encounter with a shadowy creature leaves him instead, he believes he has found a friend among those who choose only to look at his flaws. He starts meeting Kage, the shadow, regularly, to the point that even the other abrasive creature starts to warm to him. Kage and Bojji’s unlikely friendship begins the prince’s journey as he tries to overcome his fears and insecurities. Despite the constant teasing he faces, Bojji is determined to achieve his desire to be the best king he can be.
