Nozomi Inatsuki, one of the characters from the upcoming Our rain protocol anime got its own preview. Inori Minase voices the character in the eSports-themed original anime, which is set to premiere this October. The series previously revealed a visual for Yu Saegusa.
Studio Quad animated the series with Yasutaka Yamamoto as lead director and Taishi Kato as director. Boota is responsible for creating the original character designs, while Kanna Hirayama is the anime’s character designer. Katsuhiko Takayama and Yasutaka Yamamoto collaborated together to write the series’ composition, while Satoru Kousaki and MONACA teamed up to compose the music. TEAM Kitsune is credited for the original work, with Kotsukotsu drafting the story. The main cast consists of the following:
- Kensho Ono as Shun Tokinoya
- Sora Amamiya as Yu Saegusa
- Inori Minase as Nozomi Inazuki
- Momo Asakura as Mio Tokinoya
- Ryohei Kimura as Akito Sendo
The original anime revolves around the story of Shun Tokinoya, a second-year high school student who lives with his mother and younger sister. Devastated by the tragic death of his father and the injury of his sister, Shun abandoned his once beloved game and found a job at an eSports cafe called “FOX ONE”. Between tireless study and part-time work, he cherishes the company of his childhood gaming companions.
Unexpectedly, Shun discovers that “FOX ONE” is burdened with a huge debt. To settle this financial crisis, Shun and his friends embark on a mission to conquer the famous “Xaxerion Championship” and grab the coveted prize money. Struggling with a deep sense of remorse, Shun re-enters the virtual realm of online gaming, only to be confronted by his former gaming comrade, Bakuretsu-kun.
