Oregairu celebrates Yukino Yukinoshita’s birthday

According to the legend of writing light novels Wataru watari and decorated by Ponkan8, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru (Oregairu: My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU), January 3 is the birthday of Yukino Yukinoshita, one of the main characters of the franchise. The artist Ponkan8 posted a special picture to celebrate the occasion.

The official profile of the character writes: «Yukino is the leader of the Volunteer Club, and is the only member until Hachiman joins her. She's smart, beautiful, and gets the nickname “Frozen Beauty” for her icy aspect. She has a complex understanding of the “nobility of obligation” and believes that the exceptional (that is, herself) has a duty to help the “lost turn” of the world. Her personality is often felt disgusted by the naivety of others, especially Yui, and she does not hesitate to show it. Nevertheless, Yui continues to lovingly call her “Yukinon”». Fans of the franchise shared various illustrations to celebrate the occasion, along with the hashtag # 雪 ノ 下雪 乃 生 誕 祭 2022.

Summary of Oregairu

Hachiman Hikigaya is an unlisted high school student with narcotic and semi-nihilistic tendencies. He firmly believes that loving youth is nothing but shame, and anyone who says otherwise convinces himself. As an added penalty for writing an essay at play in modern social relationships, Hachiman's teacher forces him to join the Volunteer Service Club, a club that aims to lend a helping hand to any student who seeks his support to achieving objectives. With the only other member of the club as the beautiful ice queen Yukino Yukinoshita, Hachiman finds himself on the front lines of others' troubles, where he never imagined he would be. As Hachiman and Yukino use their problems to solve the problems of many students, will Hachiman ‘s rotten vision of society prove to be an obstacle or a tool he can use to his advantage?
