Olivia Wilde receives Custody Papers from Jason Sudeikis at CinemaCon

Olivia Wilde has received custody papers from her ex-wife, Jason Sudeikis.

The director was promoting her new film Don’t Worry Darling at CinemaCon when she was given a brown envelope.

Someone came to the stage at Caesars Palace from the stalls and slipped an envelope marked “personal and confidential” across the front of the stage.

“Is this for me?” Wilde asked. She then opened it, by Deadline, to find custody documents relating to her two children with Sudeikis, the comedian and star of ted lasso.

A Sudeikis source told Variety: “Documents have been drafted to establish jurisdiction over the children of Ms Wilde and Mr Sudeikis.

“Mr Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of when or where the envelope would be delivered, as this would depend entirely on the process service company involved, and would not allow it to be done. delivered to him in an inappropriate manner. “.

The couple separated at the end of 2020 after almost 10 years together.

Following the incident, Mitch Neuhauser, General Manager of CinemaCon, said: “There has never been an incident in the convention’s history where a delegate came on stage without authorization.

“In light of this incident, we are reassessing our security procedures to ensure the safety of all our attendees.”

Since then Wilde has a relationship with Harry Styles, who stars in Don’t Worry Darling opposite Florence Pugh.

He recently shared a black-and-white photo of Styles sitting in an old sports car, praising him for his “humility and grace” while filming the movie.

Wilde also recently said that Don’t Worry Darling is the equivalent of “The Female Mystique on Acid,” drawing inspiration from psycho – sexual thrillers like Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal.

The premiere of the film is scheduled for September 23, 2022.
