Excerpt from the social network Weibo definitely the Manga is written and illustrated by Marcey Naitou, Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi (Match the Amagami Family), will be an anime adaptation. The leak didn’t reveal production details or an estimated release date, so we’ll have to wait for official confirmation.
Marcey Naitouwho was the author’s assistant Haruba Negi in a manga of it Gotoubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets), began publishing the manga through the magazine Shōnen Weekly Magazine from the publisher kodansha in April 2021. He previously published this story as a one-shot in December 2020, but it gained enough attention to make it his first serialized work.
Summary of Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi
The series follows Uryuu Kamihate, a high school student who aims to pass the entrance exams for Kyoto University’s medical school. After living in an orphanage for much of his life after his mother’s death, he comes to live at the Amagami Shrine, where the head priests ask him to marry one of their three granddaughters. Uryuu and the Amagami sisters also have to face various problems, such as the risk of the asylum being closed for financial reasons. Through flashforwards, it is implied that Uryuu will end up marrying one of the sisters.
