The upcomingNingen Fushin: Adventurers who do not believe in humanity will save the worldanime has released preview images for episode 1 along with its synopsis. Studio GEEKTOYS is animating the adaptation, which will begin airing on January 10, 2023.
In the first episode, adventurer Nick finds himself deeply disillusioned after events kick him out of the group he’s long belonged to. He was also dumped by his girlfriend. He stops at a pub, shares a table with other customers, and ends up meeting a group that has also gone through hardships. They decide to unite and now these people who have lost faith in humanity raise the curtain on an incredible new story.
Shinta Fuji has been writing the story that the anime is based on Shosetsuka ni Naro since January 2019. KADOKAWA’s label MF Books picked up the series and published it with art by Susumu Kuroi. The final, third volume was released in August 2021. A manga adaptation by Masaki Kawakami is currently underway on the manga service ComicWalker and released the fifth volume in April 2022.

Nick was a member of a group of veteran adventurers and helped his undisciplined friends with the bills when he could. But what was his reward?
