“Every show was unforgettable, from the intimacy of playing in theaters and arts centres, to huge, uplifting nights at Hanging Rock, to our final three nights at the unforgettable Sydney Opera House.”
He says: “We are excited to share these recordings, which were made at the Sydney Opera House, and we hope they only capture a tenth of the euphoria we felt at those shows. We will never forget them. .”

Released in February 2021, Cave and Ellis’ album ‘Carnage’ received a five-star review from NME, with Andrew Trendell describing it as the band reaching the “peak of their powers”.
Furthermore, when the duo brought the show live to the UK later that year, the London performance earned them another five-star review, as the combined tracks from “Carnage” as well as “Gosteen” and “Skeleton Tree.” “. According to critics, this transformed the performance into a “fairly ambitious new live show”, which focused on a “close-knit” feeling.
In other Nick Cave news, the artist spoke to NME earlier this year about what to expect from the next Bad Seeds album, and whether there’s any chance of more Grinderman music coming soon.
“We could do a Grinderman record, because Grinderman is basically improv. It’s musically challenging and you don’t really know what you’re going to get, but I don’t think we could do four-on-four rock ‘n. ‘roll record,” he said.
On the other hand, last month he also posted on his website Red Hand Files, in which he told fans that he is currently “finishing up” work on his new album with the Bad Seeds.
