Seven Deadly Sins: The Outrage of Edinburgh anime film released a video interview with three cast members, Ayumu Murase (son – Tristan), Yuki Kaji (father – Meliodas) and Sora Amamiya (mother – Elizabeth) as a “family chat”. This week, the anime revealed the main preview ahead of the first part of the film premiering on December 20th on Netflix.

Ayumu Murase (Tristan) is known for his role as Shoyo Hinata in Haikyuu!! and the recently voiced young Aki Hayakawa A man with a chainsaw. Yuki Kaji (Meliodas) played the role of Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan and he voices Shoto Todoroki My Hero Academia this season. Sora Amamiya (Elizabeth) plays the role of Aqua in KonoSuba: God’s blessing to this beautiful world! and Toka Kirishima in Tokyo Ghoul.
The film introduces the plot in English as:
14 years since the Lion Kingdom defeated the Demon Clan and brought peace to the land, Prince Tristan is tormented by his inability to control two great powers: the power of his father Meliodas’ Demon Clan, who serves as the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins as the Dragon’s sin of the wrath and power of his mother Elizabeth’s Clan Goddess. When Elizabeth’s life is threatened, Tristan flees the kingdom and heads to Edinburgh, where Datpiers, who was once a member of the kingdom’s group of Holy Knights, the Pleiades of the Azure Sky, maintains his castle. But what are Detpiers’ intentions? The Wheel of Fortune begins to move and sweeps away even the Seven Deadly Sins…
Seven deadly sinswas originally a manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The manga inspired anime adaptations with 4 seasons and 3 films; A-1 Pictures animated the first two seasons andPrisoners of Heavenmovie, while Studio DEEN handled seasons 3 and 4 as well as Cursed by Lightmovie. The continuation of the series,Four Knights of the Apocalypseis getting an anime adaptation.
