N-Dubz postponed their show in Nottingham last night (November 22) five minutes after taking to the stage.
The London group – made up of Dappy, Fazer and Tulisa – were due to perform at the city’s Motorpoint Arena as part of their ongoing UK tour, marking their first set of live dates together in 11 years.
In a statement issued at 9:12 pm yesterday, a spokesperson for the venue announced that N-Dubz would not perform as planned “due to the illness of the artist.” The concert will be rescheduled for a later date.
“We understand the frustration and inconvenience this late announcement has caused,” the message said. “Full information will be available tomorrow (November 23) on official channels.”
According to Nottinghamshire Live, N-Dubz ended the performance five minutes after their scheduled time on stage. Their support act is said to have already finished their opening set when the news reached fans.
The assistants were informed by a message shown on the stadium’s giant screens.
N-Dubz then shared a tweet at 10:30 pm to apologise: “We are so sorry we had to cancel tonight’s show,” they wrote. “We tried everything we could to make the show happen, but a doctor said at the last minute that Dappy couldn’t perform and had to rest tonight…”
“We had to take this advice to heart and keep Dappy’s health in mind so that the rest of the trip can be done, which has been great so far.”
They added: “We are very sorry for all the fans who traveled to see us tonight and promise to reschedule the show for a new date.”
N-Dubz have also confirmed that the rest of their current tour will go ahead as planned. The group are scheduled to perform at London’s O2 tonight (November 23) before playing further shows next week and into early December.
Some fans took to social media to express their disappointment at the last-minute cancellation.
“IMAGINE that you are sitting in the stadium for almost two hours, so that [N-Dubz] postpone the show 5 minutes after they were on stage,” one attendee wrote. “This show could have been postponed HOURS ago if Dappy wasn’t well. Absolutely horrible.”
Another Twitter user called it a “completely unreasonable” move to “cancel so late”.
A third said: “They play the support act and then wait until 9.05pm to turn the lights on and tell us it’s cancelled. They could have told us three times since then when Dappy posted it on Insta Livid. Guy.” customer paying”.

Dappy posted on TikTok early yesterday evening to say he was feeling sick. “This happens all the time,” he explained.
“Too many performances in a row without proper breaks, now I’m completely screwed. Voice basically gone, flu, chest infection, etc.”
N-Dubz announced their reunion in May, sharing a new single called “Charmer” and detailing their current tour.
The trio broke up in 2011 after releasing three albums together: ‘Uncle B’ (2008), ‘Against All Odds’ (2009) and ‘Love.Live.Life’ (2010).
