
My Hero Academia’s “Hero Too” music video has surpassed 100 million views
My Hero Academia The music video of the fourth season’s “Hero Too” anime has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube since it was posted on March 21, 2020. The official Twitter account thanked fans for the achievement with the series’ catchphrase “PLUS ULTRA” on Sunday. It is currently the most viewed video on the TOHO animation channel, followed by a music video for Kenshi Yonezu’s “Peace Sign”, the opening theme song for the anime’s second season, with 76 million views. The sixth season continues, and the first ended on Saturday.
In the song “Hero Too”, the singer is called “KYOKA JIRO Starring Chrissy Costanza”. Kyoka Jiro is a Class 1-A student at UA High School whose hero name is Headphone Jack. The character performed the original song as the vocalist of the class band at the school cultural festival in the 23rd episode of the fourth season “Let it flow! School holiday!“. Chrissy Costanza is the vocalist of a real American rock band Against The Current. The fourth episode aired from October 2019 to April 2020 for a total of 25 episodes.
