My Happy Marriage topped the anime chart in week 6 after a fiery episode
My happy marriagetopped our weekly anime rankings for the first time this season in week 6, after an emotional, action-packed episode. We saw Kiyoka not hesitate to save Miyo, destroying Saimori’s house and their entire estate in some impressive sequences, probably unexpected by most fans who mainly watch it for the romance. 9731 people voted this week and My happy marriage took 10.41% of the vote. They were behind him Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 and BLEACH: A Thousand Years of Blood War. Check out the top 10 chart below:

The light novel was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Fujimi L Bunko later acquired the title in January 2019 and began publishing it with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka. Yen Press licensed the novel in English and they describe the story:
Born without talent into a noble family known for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into a life of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally reaches marriageable age, however, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life are dashed after she discovers the identity of her fiancé: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that all his previous brides-to-be escaped within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Mio accepts her fate and soon discovers that her pale and handsome future husband is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, they both realize that the other may be their chance to find true love and happiness.
