The My daughter left the nest and returned as an S-rank adventurer the anime is set to premiere this October, as announced alongside the new preview. Typhoon Graphics animated the said series.
Takeshi Mori is the main director and Naoki Murata is the director. Yuichiro Momose is making the series, while Jun Shibata will serve as both chief animation director and character designer. The cast for the anime includes:

- Junichi Suwabe as Belgreave
- Maki Kawase as Anesa
- Rumi Okubo as Miriam
- Marina Inoue as Helvetica Bordeaux
- Saku Mizuno as Sasha Bordeaux
- Kana Ichinose as Seren Bordeaux
The opening theme song is titled “Sen” by Yoshino Nanjo, while the ending theme song is “Homeward Journey” by Nagi Yanagi.

The story was originally published as a web novel and was picked up by Earth Star Entertainment, which has been serialized under its Earth Star Novel imprint since 2018. A total of 11 volumes are currently published. The illustrator, toi8, is a famous artist who has worked on.hack//The MovieandMaoyu Mau Yusha. A manga adaptation is also currently being worked on.
J-Roman Clublicensed the light novel in English and described the plot as:
The life of an adventurer is not always glamorous. Belgreave finds this out the hard way when a deadly encounter robs him of his leg and his ability to pursue his dreams shortly after setting off for fame and fortune. But fate is not over with this retired adventurer! While gathering herbs in the desert, he discovers an abandoned baby girl and names her Angeline, deciding to raise her as his own.
