Check out the new version of ‘blessing dom’, with an added twist from Kali Uchis, below.

Originally titled “Fun,” “Demon Time” marks a period of deeper reflection for Masa (real name Alexander Crossan), who wrote the album during the lockdown, after canceling his European tour due to the pandemic coronavirus. .

Recognizing the pain and anguish caused by the pandemic, the musician predicted that people would need “substitute and escapist music now”. That’s where this idea of damn time came from: how do you sound the period from 1 to 5 in the morning when you start doing stupid things that you don’t regret but wouldn’t do again when they come up ? new after the lock?”. You can reserve the disc here.

In a five-star review of Mura Masa’s latest album ‘RYC’, NME’s Thomas Smith said it is “exciting and memorable at its best and its larger-than-life characters and performances become uninhibited and combustible with the joy of the life.

“But Mura Masa’s stirring reflection on modern life – the ups and downs, the lies we tell ourselves to make everything better – hits just as hard.”
