Misaku Kuno, Chitose Morinaga and Rie Takahashi join Urusei Yatsura

Voice actresses Misaki Kuno, Chitose Morinaga, and Rie Takahashi are the latest additions to the ongoing Urusei Yatsura anime. The announcement coincides with the upcoming 20th episode of the series, which will air on March 3.

Kuno voices Sugar, Morinaga is Ginger, and Takahashi is Pepper in the new one Urusei Yatsura. The three characters are described as a group of students from Wakusei Junior High who are excellent skaters.

Studio David Production animated the new adaptation of the iconic manga. The series is set to have a total of 46 episodes; the first 23 will be broadcast in two back-to-back broadcasts.HIDINGis streaming the anime. The anime staff includes:

Urusei Yatsura Reboot – Third Trailer

Urusei Yatsurais based on a romantic comedy manga by Rumiko Takahashi, serialized from September 1978 to February 1987. The first anime adaptation had 195 episodes and aired from October 1981 to March 1986. It was animated by Studio DEEN and Pierrot.
