Miley Cyrus has revealed that her house caught fire while filming Black Mirror.
The singer-actress, who starred in season five of Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too as fictional pop star Ashley O, recalled the impact of the 2018 Woolsey fire on her Malibu home while filming the episode in South Africa .
As part of her Used To Be Young series on TikTok, Cyrus explained how the incident contributed to her “watching anxiety” later in life.
“Probably two or three years later, after this happened, I didn’t realize it, but I had this anxiety attack with a vision: that I would be strapped to a gurney,” Cyrus said. “I had those dreams every time I was going to do it.
“I thought it was just a side vision that made no sense, but in fact, as my house burned down, I was tied to a jury with my hands cuffed, tied to a bed.”Twitter. “My house no longer stands, but the memories shared with family and friends stand strong. I am grateful for all that remains.”
Black Mirror returned for its sixth season in June this year, with episodes featuring Aaron Paul, Salma Hayek, Josh Hartnett, and Zazie Beetz.
