Mel B has hinted that the Spice Girls could reunite to perform at Glastonbury 2023.
During a recent episode of The Big Narstie Show on Channel 4, Narstie – real name Tyrone Mark Lindo – asked the singer if he could appear as “hype man” if the girl group played at Worthy Farm .
“Yes, I would. That would be great,” answered Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice).
Mo Gilligan then tried to get Brown to confirm the Spice Girls’ performance at Glasto’23. “So you’re going to play Glastonbury?” he said. The singer replied: “Yes, I think so! But I must persuade the other four vessels to do it with me.”
Gilligan added: “Are the Spice Girls playing Glastonbury?!” Brown said: “Enough! Stop it! I never said that…”

However, during a later interview on last weekend’s edition of Sunday Brunch (December 4), Brown’s colleague Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice) claimed the Spice Girls’ alleged appearance at this year’s Glastonbury edition next “it’s not going to happen”.
“Unless [Mel B] Go alone…” he said.
The Spice Girls, who embarked on a massive UK and Ireland reunion tour in 2019, are rumored to be performing at the legendary Legends Slot at Worthy Farm next summer. In April 2019, Bunton said the group were invited to perform at Glastonbury.
Last October, Bunton claimed that Victoria Beckham would be “willing” to join the Spice Girls to play Glastonbury. However, the singer said that “no one has asked” the band to play the 2023 event.
Victoria Beckham then explained that she could not “commit” to a full Spice Girls reunion tour, “with everything else I’m doing with my fashion, and my beauty line, four kids.”
Glastonbury 2023 will take place from 21-25 June. Last Friday (December 2), it was confirmed that Elton John will headline on Sunday night (June 25) for what is said to be his last UK show.
The eFestivals schedule page lists Arctic Monkeys and Harry Styles as two other possible artists. The first batch of artists usually arrives in March.
Tickets for the next edition of Glastonbury sold out last month. General sale tickets sold out within an hour, while coach packages sold out in less than 25 minutes. According to the organizers, “demand far exceeds supply.”
Last month, the Spice Girls – minus Mel B – reunited for Geri Horner’s 50th birthday.
