Megami no Cafe Terrace is getting an anime adaptation set for 2023.

The Megami no Cafe Terrace The manga series is getting an anime adaptation, which will be released in 2023. A commemorative illustration by author Koji Seo was released as part of the announcement.

Statement by Koji Seo

Aside from Megami no Cafe Terraceinclude some of Koji’s popular manga works HALF & HALF (1996), Cross Over (2003), Love Letter: The Short Story Collection of Koji Seo (2007), City where you live (2008), LovePlus Days of Rinko (2010) and Fuuka (2014). He also featured on the cover art of the video game Come one Emblem Heroeswhich was released in 2017.

Megami no Cafe Terrace is currently being serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen magazine. Publication began in February 2021 and the series is collected in six volumes as of June 2022.

It follows the story of an orphan named Hayato Kasukabe. After passing his entrance exam at the University of Tokyo, he decides to return to Miura City and close down Cafe Familia, a coffee shop owned by her now-deceased grandmother. However, he finds out about the five women working in the cafe. After hearing their stories and connecting with his grandmother, he decides to keep the cafe open.
