MAMAMOO’s Wheein will be releasing a collaboration track with singer-songwriter Colde next month.
In a teaser released earlier today (October 28), Dingo Music announced that the two artists have teamed up for a collaboration track titled “Photosynthesis.” The track will be released on November 11 at 6:00 pm KST, and will be accompanied by a live performance that will be broadcast on the Dingo Live platform.
Photosynthesis” is Wheein’s second collaboration of the year. Prior to that, he teamed up with VIXX’s Ravi for “Goodbye.” That song preceded the rapper’s mandatory military enlistment, which began earlier this week.
Wheein also released his second solo mini-album “Whee” in January. This album, led by the title track “Make Me Happy”, was his first solo project after signing with his new label THE L1VE in August 2021.
Earlier this month, Wheein reunited with fellow MAMAMOO members to release ‘Mic ON’, the quartet’s first release as a full group in over a year. The album included the title track “ILELLA” and the B-sides “1,2,3 Eoi!” and “LIEC”.
In a four-star review of the record, NME described the group’s latest comeback as a “return to form” for the quintet: “It gives a taste of the confident acoustic identity that many have identified with without the more lightness and reduce the intensity they adapted to it. “
