The official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Kyousuke Kamishiro and illustrated by Takayaki, Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano Datta (My Stepmother is an Ex-Girlfriend), a variety of illustrations have been released that will be released as purchase benefits of the compilation Blu-ray packages, according to various distributors in Japan.
The site also revealed the cover of the first Blu-ray compilation package, which stars the character. Irido Yumeincluding the first three fourth episodes and released on October 26 in Japan.
The series has been broadcast since July 6 and has been confirmed with a total of twelve episodes, and the platform Crunchyroll handles its distribution in the West. On their own, Kamishiro and Takayaki began publishing the light novels through the publishing label Game Bunko Sneaker from the publisher Kadokawa in December 2018. The work inspired manga adaptation by Rei Kusakabewhich is published in the journal Dr. Dr. Sharp of the Niconico from May 2019.

Summary of Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano Datta
A certain boy and a certain girl, both in high school, became a couple, flirting with each other, arguing about trivial things, often feeling irritated with each other, ending up breaking up on their stage. And the two of them, Mizuto Irido and Yume Ayai, reunited in the most unexpected way. It turns out that his parents, both divorced, met, fell in love and got married, now making them step-siblings. The former partner, aware of their parents’ feelings, establishes a “sibling rule”, in which the person who finds out about the other person loses. But, after having so much contact living together, can they really ignore each other?
