
KyoAni To Animate Tsurune Season 2, Teaser Trailer Revealed
The previously announced season 2 of Tsurune revealed the first teaser trailer, along with staff information. Kyoto Animation animated the sequel under the direction of Takuya Yamamura. Second season, titled Tsurune: Tsunagari no Isshawill premiere this January.
Yamamura also directed the first season and the recent film of the same title Tsurune: Hajimari no Hitosa. The film opened in Japanese theaters on August 19 and the second season was announced on the same day. The story is based on a light novel by Kotoko Ayano. It received an anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation in Fall 2018. The anime had 13 episodes and a special titleTsurune: Dangerous Shooting.

When Narumiya Minato joins Kazemai Prefectural High School, he is quickly invited to join the archery club by the club’s advisor, Tomi-sensei. His childhood friends Takehaya Seiya and Yamanuchi Ryohei quickly agree to join, but Minato is initially hesitant. Since Minato is the rare student with archery experience, Tomi-sensei orders him to do a demonstration, which Minato does… only his arrow misses the target. Minato is revealed to have developed a terrible archery dysfunction.
