The preview of My happy marriage episode 7 titled “Glamorous Lady of Summer” is here and Kiyoka’s older sister, Hazuki Kudo (voiced by Yoko Hikasa) will make an appearance. Netflix is streaming the series and the next episode is set to premiere on Wednesday, August 16.

Sotaro Shimizu (The bastard doesn’t dream of a sister coming out unit director) directed the upcoming episode with Masayuki Kojima (Trigun Stampede episode 3) script work and Momoka Toyoda (Liar liar) writing scripts.

Kinema Citrus animated the series, with Evan Call composing the music. Shoko Yasuda adapted the character designs from the light novel written by Akumi Agitogi. Reina Ueda voices the main character Miyo Saimori, and Kaito Ishikawa stars as Kiyoka Kudo.

The light novel was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Fujimi L Bunko later acquired the title in January 2019 with illustrations provided by Tsukiho Tsukioka. Yen Pressis licensed the novel in English and described the plot as:
Born without talent into a noble family known for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into a life of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally reaches marriageable age, however, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life are dashed after she discovers the identity of her fiancé: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that all his previous brides-to-be escaped within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Mio accepts her fate and soon discovers that her pale and handsome future husband is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, they both realize that the other may be their chance to find true love and happiness.
