The Ranking of kings the series is getting a new movie that apparently has no connection to the previous anime. More details about the new project have not been announced. Treasury of Courage the side story anime ended earlier today after 10 episodes.
WIT Studio is working on the first season of the TV anime that followed the manga. Soon after the finale, a new anime project titled Treasury of Courage, which did not follow the manga and instead focused on recaps and side stories, was announced. Minami Hinata and Ayumu Murase voiced Boji and Kage in both animes. This will be the first film for Ranking of kings franchise.
TheRanking of kings (Ousama ranking)anime is based on a manga by Sosuke Toka. Crunchyroll described the plot of the series as:
How prosperous your nation is, how powerful warriors it boasts, and how heroic and powerful its king is. These are the criteria that go into the system known as ranking the kings. The main character, Boji, is born as the first prince of the kingdom ruled by King Bossu, who is ranked number seven. But Boji was born unable to hear and is so powerless that he can’t even swing a sword. As a result, he is looked down upon by his own servants and the public as completely unfit to be king. Then Boji finds his first Kage friend and Boji’s life takes a dramatic turn…
