A preview featuring protagonist Runa Shirakawa wearing a wedding dress was revealed by Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi (Kimizero) anime on friday. The series premiere is scheduled for next July.
Hideaki Oba directed the series at Studio ENGI, with Hiroko Fukuda writing the script and Yusuke Ito doing the character designs. Saori Onishi voices Runa Shirakawa, while Natsuki Hanae stars as Ryuto Kashima. The series previously revealed a Yukata-themed trailer and preview.
The anime is based onKeiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi(Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and the Inexperienced Me) light novel written by Makiko Nagaoka with illustrations provided by Magako. Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko has serialized the series since September 2020. Square Enix’s web service Gangan Online published the manga adaptation with art done by Noyama Carpaccio.
Kimizerofollows the story of Ryuto Kashima, who is forced to admit that he has feelings for Runa Shirakawa, a popular high school girl. Somehow they end up on a date, but things take a turn when Ryuuto learns that a handsome member of a soccer club has also confessed his feelings for Runa. Suddenly, Runa pulls Ryuuto into the room and introduces him as her friend.
