Kid Cudi denies alleged argument with Timothée Chalamet: “I will always love him”
Kid Cudi denied rumors that he was breaking up with friend Timothée Chalamet, saying he will “always love him.”
The rapper, singer, songwriter and actor – real name Scott Mescudi – recently responded to a fan who reposted a photo of Cudi and the 2021 Wonka Chalamet star. Captioning the image of the couple posing happily together, he said the user X that they were “stopped. “.
“What happened?” Cudi asked. One of her followers told her they “think you and Timmy are no longer friends for some reason,” adding that the rumor was “going viral on TikTok.”
“What da hell 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️,” Cudi responded, adding that he called out Chalamet on his recent single ‘Most Ain’t Dennis’ (“Doin’ movies, TV shows, out by Timmy, I” ma pack burn/ Never fall off, who’s the boss? That’s facts).
And he continued: “I spoke to him a few weeks ago. Timmy is my brother until the end of time and after that, I will always always love him. We are good. Trust me. Don’t know I don’t know where this comes from but please don’t believe the “gossip network.”

In 2018 Chalamet credited Cudi with saving his acting career, revealing that the rapper gave him some sage advice after a show in 2014. They reunited a few years later at a GQ party before Cudi called Chalamet a ” favorite artist”.
The Dune star, who has long admired Cudi’s music, responded enthusiastically to the outburst by tweeting at the time: “UHMMM OKAY STRIKE ME THE FUCK DOWN.”
In 2019 he joined Cudi on stage to sing “In My Dreams (Cudder Anthem)). In 2021, Chalamet presented Cudi with an action figure of his character Dunne Paul Atreides: “To the true master of the universe,” he wrote on the side of the box.
In recent news, Wonka director Paul King compared Chalamet’s “beautiful” voice in the upcoming film to that of Bing Crosby.
“There’s a lot of variety, because it goes from a few bigger, more spectacular things to moments of pure, real emotion, and he can do it all,” he explained.
Cudi, for his part, called people “homophobic and sad” who questioned his sexuality. “I feel bad for you guys,” he said. “This is sad”.
