Kanye West reportedly went to church amid rumors that he had “disappeared”.
At the end of last year, the former business manager of the controversial rapper, Thomas St. John, who had been unable to reach him for weeks to serve him with a lawsuit, prompting concerns that he was missing.
Now, as reported by HotNewHipHop, a sharp-eyed fan has snapped a photo of what appears to be West in a baseball cap and green jacket chatting while in church.
The identity of the person in the photo has not yet been confirmed.
In recent months, the West has been widely criticized by many show business people, as well as various political figures and organizations representing Jewish communities. He later walked out of an interview in which his anti-Semitic views were questioned.
The group StopAntsemitism recently announced “Antisemite of the Year”, in response to his series of antisemitic comments.
West’s social media accounts were frequently suspended: his Twitter account was banned three times in less than two months. Later, he was suspended from the Clubhouse after claiming that the Chinese use “Jews” to control blacks, describing them as “middlemen.”
He has also lost contracts with Balenciaga, Adidas and Gap, and was stripped of his honorary degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Vice reported that several websites are selling a line of products with a version of the slogan “Ye 24” – a reference to the rapper who is running for president in the US election in 2024 – designed to look like a couple of swastikas.
Other garments used a logo that West claims proved to be a swastika within the Star of David. In fact, the logo is a symbol linked to the Raelian cult of UFOs.
