The official site for the Anime adaptation of the Manga written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, Kanojo, Okarishimasu (Rent A Girl), published various illustrations that will be given as beneficiaries of the Blu-ray compilation packages of the second season of the project. The illustrations feature the four biggest girls (so far in the anime), including Chizuru Mizuhara, Nanami’s mom, ruka sarashina Y Sumi Sakurasawa.
The second season has been broadcast from July 1 in Japan and has been confirmed with a total of twelve episodes, and the platform Crunchyroll handles its distribution in the West. The platform is also airing a Latin Spanish dub of the first season. Reiji Miyajima manga publication started Kanojo, Okarishimasu through the magazine Shōnen Weekly Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in July 2017.

- Mitsutaka Hirota (Anime-Gataris, Nanbaka, Prince of Tennis II) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Canna Hirayama (Yakusoku no Neverland, Sword Art Online: Alicization, Maou-sama, Retry!) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
- HYADIN (One Punch Man, Kuroko no Basket, Testing Baka to Shoukanjuu) is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack.
Summary of Kanojo, Okarishimasu
Kazuya Kinoshita is a 20-year-old college student who has a wonderful girlfriend: the wonderful Mami Nanami. But suddenly, no more. Without warning, Mami breaks up with him, leaving him heartbroken and lonely. Trying to ease his pain, he hires a girl for hire through an online app. His partner is Chizuru Mizuhara, who manages to win Kazuya’s affection through her incomparable beauty and cute behavior. But after reading similar experiences from other clients of Chizuru’s, Kazuya is convinced that her caring personality and warm smile were just an act to play on his heart, and he thinks badly of her.
Worse, Chizuru criticizes him for his shameless hypocrisy, revealing his true temperament personality. However, this one-sided exchange is cut short when Kazuya learns that his grandmother has collapsed. They rush to the hospital and find Kazuya’s grandmother already in good condition. When Chizuru is present, Grandma asks who this girl could be. Reluctantly, Kazuya introduces her as his real girlfriend, forcing Chizuru to take the part. But with Kazuya still anchored to Mami, how long can this difficult client and reluctant rent girl keep up their act?
