The official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Red and illustrated by ririnra, Kami-tachi and Hirowareta Otoko (By the Grace of the Gods), the main trailer for the second season of the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for January 8, 2023 in Japanwho crunchyroll take care of its distribution in the West.
This second season will be set three years after the end of the first, when Ryoma and Eliaria promise to get together. On the other hand, the first season premiered during the season of Autumn-2020 (October-December) and there were twelve episodes in total. Summary of Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko
Deep in the forest, far from any human contact, lives a boy named Ryuma Takebayashi. He takes up the strange hobby of keeping different types of slimes as pets. In addition, despite his young age, he has a strong physique and good compatibility with magic. This is all because, after suffering many hardships in his previous life, three gods give Ryuma a second chance to pursue one goal: to taste the wonders of life.
After spending three years in comfortable solitude, Ryuma meets people who will change his current life forever. When he finds and helps the soldiers of his injured comrade, the group convinces him to go with them to visit the bereaved family in the nearby town. Ryuma agrees and soon goes on a journey to explore the world outside his home.
