Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – The First Kiss That Never Ends unveiled a new trailer that features halca’s interspersed song “heart notes” and Airi Suzuki’s ending theme song “Heart wa Oteage.” The anime began showing in theaters in Japan earlier this month.
The newKaguya-sama: Love is waranime project was announced after the third season finale aired in June, but details and format were unknown, with many speculating that it was either a fourth season or a film. The official announcement came in the August issue of Monthly Newtype magazine, for which Kaguya was on the cover. Details of the theatrical release and telecast were announced shortly thereafter. A-1 Pictures is animating the series based on Aka Akasaka’s manga, which ended earlier this year. After the series ended, Akasaka announced that he was retiring as a manga artist, but that he would continue to write stories.
