
Jordan Peele bought the prosthetic ear worn by Corey Feldman in ‘Stand By Me’
Jordan Peele has revealed that he has the prosthetic ear worn by Corey Feldman in the 1986 film stand with me.

The revelation came during Peele’s appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, aired on Thursday (January 5) to mark the launch of the film and comedy’s residency at Lincoln Center. The cycle of projections, entitled The Lost Horseman: A Chronicle Of Hollywood Sacrifice ), which runs until Saturday, January 14, and includes films that inspired Peele to make his latest film, nope.
“A lot of people ask what it is nope and he tries to understand what it means,” Peele told Meyers, “and it’s one of those things that I feel like if I could get it down to two sentences, I wouldn’t have made the movie. But what I’ve been able to do is put together a series of films that I think give the film a good context.”
The program includes four films by Feldman: Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), stand with me, Dream Little Dream (1989) and The birthday (2004).
Peele explained his new friendship with the singer, actor and activist, described in the interview as “one of the greatest teenage icons of all time”: “He invited my producer and me to his house … it was amazing A film that taught us called The birthdayunreleased, and it’s a treasure if you’re a film buff and like the ‘see what I did’ experience.”
“And that’s why [ciclo del Lincoln Centre] This is a kind of preliminary work lost film, because of the film nope It’s about exploitation and destruction… So I’m excited to have this relationship with Feldman.”

“There was an affair where he was auctioned off the ear he wore as Teddy i stand with meand I think I bought it in a very cheeky way… I say it out loud, [y] I understand how terrible that was. That’s not something you should share… But eventually, I mentioned it to him and he said, “Wait, do you have the ear?” I said, ‘Yes,’ and he said, ‘Man, I’m glad it was you.

Feldman’s last role was in a slasher film 13 Fanboyin which he played Mike Merryman and told a meta-story about the murder of the cast members in Friday 13.
In 2021, Feldman accused Marilyn Manson of “twenty years of mental and emotional abuse” as well as grooming. Then, last August, he alleged that Manson sabotaged his 2017 “Heavenly Tour.”
For his part, Jesse Hassenger, from NMEis qualified nope with four stars: “Peele’s background as a sketch comedian doesn’t seem to make him aware of certain tropes of the genre or capable of injecting humor into tense situations (although both are true). At times, he seems to suggest that comedy like horror is a way to process the mysteries of the world… and to look at things we shouldn’t be looking at.”
