Summary of School Days
High school student Makoto Itou first notices Kotonoha Katsura at the beginning of the second semester, in his first year. Right away, he is fascinated by her beauty, but his shyness does not allow him to approach her, despite the fact that they take the same train every day. Instead, he secretly takes a picture of her and sets it as wallpaper on his cell phone: a charm that, if kept secret long enough, helps create a relationship. However, her colleague Sekai Saionji sees the picture, but instead of saying it, she offers to help him with Kotonoha, even going so far as to befriend her just because of him. So, the three begin a fairly quick friendship…
