
I’m in Love with the Villainess reveals Claire’s version of the Visual
The upcoming I’m in love with the villain anime has revealed an alternate version of the previously revealed visual that features Claire Francois opposite Ray Taylor. Side characters Pepi Barlier and Loretta Cougret can also be seen in the preview. Studio Platinum Vision is animating the series, which is set to premiere next October.

Hideaki Oba directed the anime and Ayumu Hisao wrote the script. Yoko Sato is doing the character designs based on the light novel series written by Inori. Voice actress Yu Serizawa voices the main character Ray Taylor, while Karin Nanami stars as the villain, Claire Francois. The remaining cast members consist of Aimi as Misha Jur, Ikumi Hasegawa as Lene, Sara Matsumoto as Loretta Cougret, and Minami Kurisaki as Pepi Barlier.
I’m in love with the villain The light novel was originally published on Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2018. Ichijinsha acquired the title at a later date with illustrations drawn by Hanagata. A manga adaptation illustrated by Anoshimo launched in June 2020 and currently has a total of 6 volumes.
Seven Seas Entertainmentpublished the light novel in English and they described the plot as:
Ordinary office worker Ohashi Rei wakes up in the body of the protagonist of her favorite otome game, Revolution. To her delight, the first person to greet her is also her favorite character, Claire Francois – the main antagonist of the story! Now Rey is determined to romance Claire instead of the game’s male leads. But how will her villainous lover react to this new courtship?!
