TV anime adaptation of the light novel series I will survive with potions! has been announced and is expected to be released in 2023. A visual teaser is already out as well as the cast information. Rin Kusumi voices the main character Kaoru, while Tomoyo Takayanagi, Moeka Koizumi, Haruki Iwata, and Natsuki Kitagawa play the roles of Francette, Emile, Belle, and Layette, respectively. The production studio and staff have yet to be announced.
The I’ll survive on potions! The TV anime is based on the light novel of the same title written by FUNA. The series was originally serialized on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2015. Kodansha later acquired the title and began publishing it in print with illustrations by Tsukima in 2017.
J-Novel Club licensed the series in English and they describe the first volume as follows:
One day, the supervisor in charge of monitoring the Earth was taking care of a warp when they made a mistake that caused Kaoru Nagase to lose his physical body. Not only that, but reincarnating her in a different, less culturally advanced world is the only thing they can offer to do for her. Not one to take this turn of events sitting down, Kaoru makes a demand: the power to create potions whenever he wants, to whatever effect he wants—and it doesn’t stop there, either. She wants a magical item box, the ability to understand and speak any language, and the same body she had when she was a fifteen-year-old girl. Using her newfound powers, Kaoru must try to build a stable life for herself in a whole new world!
