A press release reported that the light novels are written by Gambling and Circle and illustrated by Meru, I was reborn as the 7th Prince so I can take my time to improve my magical ability (Node Shitara Tensei Dainana Ouji Datta, Kimama and Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu), will be an anime adaptation. The press release revealed production details but did not list a scheduled release date.
Kenkyo of the Circle and Meru began publishing light novels through the trail K Ranobe Bunko of Kodansha in July 2020. A manga adaptation by Yousuke Kokuzawa has been published through the digital service Magazine Pocket since June 2020. It should be noted that the novels developed independently from the service Shutsuka and Narou in October 2019.
