A fire hunter runs through the black forest, which is set in the world after the last war of mankind. The land is now covered in black forests and people have bodies that ignite when near fire due to an incendiary pathogen that was used as a weapon.
Fire Hunters brandish crescent scythes to fight fire demons and obtain the only fire that can safely handle humans. In recent years, there had been a rumor among them: the fire hunter who caught the Millennium Comet would be called the king of fire hunters. When the fates of 11-year-old Tuco and 15-year-old Kuji intersect, the story begins to unfold.
