Reviewing Nick Cave’s performance at Norway’s Øya Festival earlier this month, NME wrote: “Although Nick Cave recently tragically lost his son, he and his Bad Seeds seem to use acting as a way to celebrate life and make the most of moments like these. Having seen The Bad Seeds many times, this writer has never seen Cave enjoy himself as he appears to be doing on stage this summer.

“On Øya, the enthusiasm with which he delivers tracks such as ‘Get Ready For Love’, ‘Higgs Boson Blues’ and ‘Red Right Hand’ is almost playful, as is his speech.”
