Hanako-kun after schoolon Toilet bound Hanako-kun spin-off, has unveiled a new trailer ahead of its October 10 premiere. Studio Lerche will animate the adaptation, which will be made up of short episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming it.
The anime spin-off follows the new Toilet bound Hanako-kun project announcement from last year. Masaki Kitamura will direct and Kazuma Nagatomo will be in charge of series composition. Aya Higami is the lead animation director and character designer for the series, and Hiroshi Takaki composed the music. Cast members return from the original series and include Megumi Ogata as Hanako-kun, Akari Kito as Nene Yashiro, and Shoya Chiba as Ko Minamoto.
The anime is based on a manga by AidaIro.Yen Pressdescribes the plot as:
“Hanako-san, Hanako-san…are you there?” Rumors abound at Kamome Academy about the seven mysteries of the school, one of which is Hanako-san. Said to occupy the third cubicle of the girls’ restroom on the third floor of the old school building, Hanako-san grants any wish when called upon. Nene Yashiro, an occult-loving high school student who dreams of romance, ventures into this haunted bathhouse…but the Hanako-san she meets there is not what she imagined! Hanako-san from Kamome Academy… is a boy!
