Halsey To Release Single Version Of Post Malone Collaboration ‘Die For Me’
Halsey has confirmed that she will be releasing a single version of her Post Malone collaboration ‘Die For Me’ later this week.
‘Die For Me’ appeared on Post Malone’s 2019 album ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ and, along with a Future collaboration, Halsey delivered a snarling verse that included the iconic line “I sold 15 million copies of a broken note.””.
“For anyone who’s been through shit with an adulterous spouse or a shitty relationship. It’s a reminder to people that they’re not alone and shit gets better,” Post Malone said on the song. “Halsey fucking broke up,” he said.
Now Halsey has confirmed that there is a full single version of ‘Die For Me’ and it will be out on February 24th.
“I got a little surprise along the way,” Halsey wrote in instagram. My fans have known for a long time that there is a demo of ‘Die For Me’ with just me on it. I did my verse on tour all summer and since so many people asked for it, I decided to put out my full version as ‘Die 4 Me’.
“I can’t wait for you to hear it,” they said. “Big thanks to Post Malone, Louis Bell, and Future for having me on the original release and co-signing this version to finally see the light of day.”
Following the news that Halsey is about to officially release the long-rumoured ‘Die 4 Me’, fans asked the singer to share Tatu’s sample version of ‘Nightmare’.
He shared a snippet of the track in early 2022 before asking fans “should they leak this version?”
Halsey released her fourth album ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’ in 2021 and followed it up with the independent single ‘So Good’ in 2022 after a dispute with her record label.
Recently, “Boy With Luv” by BTS and Halsey hit a huge milestone on Spotify by becoming the first Korean song to surpass 1 billion streams on the platform.
And late last year, Halsey took to the stage at The Game Awards 2022 to perform ‘Lilith’ before confirming that the collaboration was “just the beginning of what’s in store for me and Blizzard Entertainment”. Lots of exciting things coming up for Halsey fans, Diablo fans and the crossover,” they said.
