Yeezy Mafia tweeted on Monday (July 11), “HOW DO YOU THINK ABOUT SULFUR FOR LONG?”, to which Greggs replied, “Two hot dog buns left for a multipack.”
This prompted numerous responses to the post, with one person tweeting, “Just pop it in the oven to get it hot.”
Another said, “Whatever you do, don’t chew on the shoes,” and a third wrote, “Kanye get a vegan?” Comparisons were also made with Cornish pasties and Crocs.
The Sulfur Yeezy 450 sneaker was announced in May and features a unique look design in a tonal cream colorway. It has a one-piece Primeknit upper with tight bands around the ankle and an EVA foam sole. It has a retail price of 200 dollars (170 euros).
Last month, West criticized Adidas for the recent release of its Adilette 22 slides, calling the shoe “a fake Yeezy made by adidas itself”.
“I will no longer tolerate this blatant copying,” West wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “This is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feels they can’t because [perderán] contract or they will be called crazy.
West also says the sneakers show “the lack of respect people in power have for talent” before describing them as “fake Yeezy.” West ends the caption telling Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted to “come and talk to him” directly.
West, on the other hand, takes part in Cardi B’s new single, ‘Hot Shit’, taken from the rapper’s upcoming album.
The track was produced by hip hop giant Tay Kieth, which was first confirmed during an announcement at the 2022 BET Awards. In it, Cardi brings her trademark bravado to welcome Lil Durk and West for their own flow-changing verses .
In an interview with Zane Lowe following the single’s release, Cardi described West as “a really sweet guy.” “I want a lot of people to have conversations with him so they can see his true face,” he said.
