Gorillaz debuted their new collaboration with Tame Impala and Bootie Brown “New Gold” at All Points East

Gorillaz played last night (August 19) at All Points East in London and premiered a new collaboration with Tame Impala and Bootie Brown.

The band performed at the Victoria Park festival to kick off the second leg of their 2022 European tour, supported by IDLES, Turnstile, Yves Tumor, Self Esteem, Femi Kuti, Obongjayar, NewDad, Remi Wolf, Gabriels, Ibeyi, Nia Archives. and Willow Kayne.

During their headlining performance, they brought in many special guests, including De La Soul, Shaun Ryder from Happy Mondays, Popcaan, Moonchild Sanelly, and Mos Def.

Halfway through the concert, they premiered a new song called “New Gold”, featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown: “It’s a crazy song, to be honest,” Damon Albarn told the crowd.

Immediately after the performance, the track was made available on Gorillaz’s official website, indicating that the release date is near.
