Future unveils the title of his new album, ‘I Never Liked You’, and looks at Kanye West’s collaboration

Future revealed details about the title and cover art of his new album, and shared a clip of a collaboration with Kanye West.

Epic Records shared a video clip Tuesday (April 26) featuring their collaboration with West, now legally known as Ye. It comes as footage of the couple recording a music video came together on the internet earlier this month.

“Cross me so big I have nails in my hand / City on fire … City on fire,” West is heard rapping on the road.

Future has also announced that their album, which will arrive on April 29, will be titled ‘I Never Liked You’.

Future’s new album is the sequel to LP 2020’s ‘High Off Life’, featuring the likes of Drake, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, DaBaby, Meek Mill, Lil Baby and many more.

NME’s Luke Morgan Britton commented on ‘High Off Life’: “Despite his greatness, however, this album draws on too many of the rapper’s signature themes to fulfill his big pre-release promises.”

In February, Future released “The Worst Day,” his first solo single in almost two years. The music video was accompanied by a video in which American YouTuber and dating consultant Kevin Samuels play with a Future therapist, describing himself as a “professional image consultant”.

Future has worked on a number of collaborations over the past two years. In 2020, he teamed up with Swae Lee to work with the Internet Money group on the new song ‘Thrusting’.

That same year, Future and Lil Uzi Vert released their new collaboration album “Pluto x Baby Pluto”. The 16-song collection was made by DJ Esco, and was accompanied by a video directed by Hype Williams for the track “That’s It.” The pair released a deluxe edition of the album a week later.

Meanwhile, Future will headline Rolling Loud Miami in July, alongside Kanye West (under the legal name Ye) and Kendrick Lamar. Tickets are available here.
