A press release reported that the manga is written and illustrated by Haruba Negi, Sentai Daishikkaku (Go, Go, Loser!), will be an anime adaptation. The statement confirmed that the project will be a TV anime series and that keiichi satou (Inuyashiki, Shingeki or Bahamut: Genesis, Tiger & Bunny) will handle the shipping.
Furthermore, the press release did not reveal production details or a scheduled release date.
Haruba started publishing the manga in the magazine Shōnen Weekly Magazine from the publisher kodansha in February 2021, and the publisher published the seventh compilation volume on October 17 in Japan. His main work, Gotoubun no Hanayomepublished in the same magazine between August 2017 and February 2020, prompting two anime adaptations and a feature film.
