Fred announced again.. his new album ‘Actual Life 3 (1 January – 9 September 2022)’

Fred has announced again… the details of his third album, ‘Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9, 2022)’ and has shared his first song.

The latest album in the ‘Actual Life’ series from the artist/producer lands on October 28th via Atlantic, and is previewed today with the first single ‘Danielle (smile on my face)’.

The disc follows the first album ‘Actual Life (April 14 – December 17, 2020)’, which came out in April 2021, and the follow-up ‘Actual Life 2 (February 2 – October 15, 2021)’ in the same year . .

After a US tour starting next week, Fred will be back… playing European dates culminating in a newly announced house gig at London’s Brixton Academy on December 8th.

Since the release of ‘Actual Life 2’ in November last year, Fred has again shared a number of collaborations, joining Swedish House Mafia (on ‘Turn On The Lights Again’), Four Tet (‘Jungle’), I. Jordan (‘Admit it (U Don’t Want 2)’) and Romy and HAAi from The xx (‘Lights Out’).

In their review of ‘Actual Life 2’, NME wrote: “Fred Gibson, Brian Eno’s protégé who has notably collaborated with the likes of Stormzy, Ed Sheeran and The xx’s Romy, documents the many stages of grief in ‘Actual Life 2 (February 2 – 15 October 2021)’, turning snippets of the conversation into a personal musical time capsule that ultimately stings with emotion and catharsis.”
