The broadcast of the previously announced Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- The telecast of the special was postponed from the originally scheduled December 31st due to production issues. In a statement posted on the official website, officials asked for understanding and promised to make every effort to provide a good final product. Studio A-1 Pictures animated the special.
Although the broadcast of Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- has been postponed, the announcement states that the latest footage from the special will be shown during Fate Project’s New Year’s special. The special was announced with a teaser trailer and preview on September 24. The cast has also been revealed for both the original Japanese and English dub versions:
- Kana Hanazawa / Anjali Kunapaneni as Ayaka Saiju
- Yuki Ono/Ben Balmaceda as Saber
- Tomokazu Seki / David Vincent as Archer
- Yu Kobayashi/Marin Miller as Lancer
Ryogo Narita is credited with the original story and Shizuki Mori with the original character designs. Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume are directing the special with Daisuke Ohigashi writing the script. Yukei Yamada adapted the character designs and Hiroyuki Sawano composed the music. Fate/Strange Fakeis a light novel series that is part of Type-MoonFatefranchise. It is written by Ryogo Narita and illustrated by Morii Shizuki.
