Edens Zero Season 2 Gets First Trailer, April 2023 Premiere Date

The official Twitter account of Edens Zero revealed a teaser trailer for Season 2 of the series, along with a premiere date of April 2023. In addition to Shiki, Rebecca, and the rest of the main cast, villains from the upcoming season were also featured in the new trailer. Studio JC Staff animated the second season and you can watch the trailer below:

The series was previously announced with a key preview in August. The first season of Edens Zero aired from April 2021 to October 2021 and had a total of 25 episodes. Yushi Suzuki directed the first season with Shinji Ishihara as the lead director.

TheEdens ZeroThe manga series has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazines since June 2018, and the 22nd compilation volume will also be released today. Kodansha USApublished it in English and they describe the story:
In Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki makes his way to finding new friends, his former neighbors become excited about the possibility of a robo-rebellion… And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape in boundless space.
