
Dubstep producer Christine Clements, aka Vaccine, dies at 43
Christine Clements, an American dubstep producer who published under the pseudonym Vaccine, has died. He was 43 years old.
Her death was confirmed by her husband and fellow musician, James Clements – whose stage name is ASC, who shared a message on Instagram last Thursday (August 24). In the post, he told his followers that his partner had died earlier that week after being briefly admitted to hospital.
“It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my beautiful wife, Christine,” he wrote in the post, sharing a photo of her. “She died early on August 22, after being admitted to hospital on the 16th due to a sudden deterioration in her health.”
“Everyone who knew Christine described her as warm and kind, a beautiful person and a joy to be around. She lit up the room with her smile and humor. She was selfless and a always trying to help people, whether she knew it or not. For her, life was love and pity.”
“Many of you know her from the music she released under the name Vaccine. I know she touched the hearts and minds of many people with her sensitive and emotional approach to dubstep and autonomous.”
