Drake suffers a prank from his father by wearing a giant pink bra on stage

Drake’s dad has pulled a prank on the rapper by asking someone to wear a giant pink bra while he performs on stage.

The timing follows the current trend the rapper has been facing during his current series of live shows with 21 Savage, titled the ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour. During the many stops on his US tour, Drake has been spotted by fans wearing bras while performing.

The most memorable came last month, when an audience member, later identified as Veronica Correia, made headlines by wearing her size 36G underwear during her New York show.

Coming across the garment, Drake picked it up, checked the tag, and exclaimed, ‘Damn. 36G? Shortly after it was confirmed that Playboy was in contact with Correia, who already works officially with the brand.

Now, it looks like Drake’s dad has jumped on the bandwagon too, making his son laugh by wearing an oversized bra during his concert in Los Angeles.

The prank took place on Wednesday night (August 16), while Drake and 21 Savage were playing their joint show at the Kia Forum, and someone put the oversized outfit on stage.

With the garment in hand, Drake joked to his audience that the bra size involved could end the bra toss competition taking place on his tour. “This could be the end of the saga. This could be the end of the road,” he said (via Metro). “I don’t even know if I want to see it, because then I will believe that there are aliens.”

Shortly afterwards, he was informed that the oversized garment was his father, and he read an accompanying note to his audience: “Oh, is this from my father? Oh, this is from my father, my father did this to me,” Drake. said.

Looking at the message, she read, “Dad wants ‘BIG’ things for you. I love you and make sure you’re breastfeeding properly!”, before asking rhetorically, “What’s wrong with the man this?”

After the show, it was revealed that the rapper’s father, Toronto-based Zoba Martin, had made a special bra. Martin also documented the creative process on his Instagram page, along with images of Drake holding the bra on stage.

Drake and his father – whose name is Dennis Graham – have shared their close relationship publicly many times in recent years. Back in 2018, the artist gave Graham a Bentley for his birthday, which cost $150,000 (£117,300), and just last year, Graham revealed he had a portrait of his son’s face tattooed on his arm (via Meter) .

Although the rapper seems to see the lighter side of his underwear being worn by fans during his concerts, he has also fallen in with the increasingly disturbing trend of concert goers wearing things others on it while they are performing.

These incidents have become more frequent in recent months, and include P!nk being left confused after fans threw her dead mother’s ashes on her stage in London, Harry Styles being punched in the eye in Vienna , and Ava Max, who were hit. against someone running on stage during a concert in Los Angeles.

What worried him most was the incident at one of Bebe Rehxa’s concerts, where the singer needed stitches after an onlooker threw a phone in his face because he thought it would be “funny”…

So far, Drake has had two incidents with fans throwing potentially dangerous things at him during his tour. The first of these was a phone, which was thrown by a member of the crowd and hit him in the arm. The second was a vape, prompting the rapper to call the person responsible.

“There’s no way you’re taking life seriously if you think I’m going to pick up the vape and vape with you at the fucking Barclays Center,” he said. “You have to do a real-life assessment, wearing this fucking lemon mint vape here, thinking I’m going to vape with you at Barclays.”
