Drake sticks to two new songs on his ‘Table For One’ radio show

Drake has previewed two new songs on the first episode of his new radio show Table For One.

On Friday (June 17), the rapper surprised his fans with the release of his seventh studio album, ‘Honestly, Nevermind’. The 14-track album hit streaming platforms at midnight, just hours after it was announced on Instagram.

Just before the album came out, Drake showed it on his new SiriusXM Sound 42 Table For One.

At another point, during the first episode of Table For One, he indicated that he was going to publish a poetry book and another “Scary Hours” collection at some point.

Drake also played a few new songs. The first, “Confusion”, is a cover of the Keinemusik song of the same name that appeared on the Berlin Music Assembly’s 2022 album “Send Return”.

The second track is the piano ballad “I Could Never,” which some Drizzy fans might remember because a version by Jorja Smith was leaked online a few years ago. The shared version is new without Smith and contains new lyrics.

Both songs can be heard below:

On this week’s Table For One broadcast, Drake also discussed his desire to return to the stage soon. “I hope you have a great summer,” he told fans. “I look forward to being with you for some of them. Whether it’s OVO Fest or whatever shows we can put together.”

Drake confirmed the planned return of his OVO Fest while showing surprise at Dave ‘s show in Toronto last month.

He said, “I look forward to showing some love to people, it’s too long.”

For her, Drake recently shared a photo on his Instagram of seeing the Haim sisters from Los Angeles for the first time..

“I only met the Beatles,” he wrote in the caption next to the black-and-white photo of the rapper with Este, Danielle and Alana Haim.
